Why shouldn't we use a VPN for TikTok? What’s the alternative? Any advice?

Hey!
I've read almost all posts about tiktok changing location, and I've not seen a real experience from people, only advices

And advices are super different, for someone VPN works, but someone tell not to use vpn

So
1. Why not to use it?
2. Can you share a real experience like where tt really banned / shadow banned for vpn?
3. What to use instead? Proxies? But proxies has Traffic limits in GB, like 8$ for 1GB is so expensive, especially for tiktok when after few minutes of usage already 0.5 will be spent... Or am I wrong with it?

Proxies offer lower latency times than VPNs in practice and I can say that they are also successful in hiding your IP address more consistently.

We'll have to assess first whether VPN is indeed a problem. Investigate that and post results if you're brave enough to do a marketing experiment.

Maybe I'll arrange some time to do that cause I've been thinking about it yesterday.

But proxies have GB limits right? Like I saw proxies for 8$ a 1GB, it's super expensive...
Is there any other proxies without limits? Or at least 20-50Gb for 8$ idk
