Hello, community!

A week ago, I launched a trading bot on Bybit with a 500 deposit. So far, PNL +35$ seems to be good, but I understand that this is a short time and there are risks.

Questions for you:
Do you use bots? On which exchanges?
Should I trust automation, or is manual trading more reliable?

Do you think bots are the future of trading?

Bots are good for short-term trading or when you're dealing with a lot of pairs. The key is to have a solid strategy, whether it's your own or someone else's, but thoroughly backtested. That way, you understand the risks and what kind of results to expect.

I've commissioned a lot of trading bots, and since AI came along, I've been trying to code my own. But I focus on long-term systems, so I don't get that many signals, and I can execute them manually.

The problem with bots is that trading algorithms eventually stop working as well, and you need to optimize them.

Bots are very good for bulk and fast actions. They can trade faster than a human can. Therefore they are good for these purposes.
