I've tried various trading methods for meme coins on the Solana ecosystem.
Currently, Solana is approaching its previous peak, and the international community is experiencing strong FOMO over meme coins on this network.
Of course, you need to analyze and make your own decisions, but I've found a method that helps reduce risk when trading on this ecosystem—and even on others.
I often use the KOL wallet copy-trading method.
As you may know, meme coins fundamentally operate on a "first in, first win" basis, where early investors profit from those who enter later.

The first to create the project is the DEV.

The DEV will distribute allocations to some KOLs so they can start shilling the project.

If the KOLs see potential in the project, they might buy more. If not, they'll still shill it, wait for the price to pump a bit, then sell their allocated tokens for profit.

Once the KOLs are done, the Western investors start buying in, providing liquidity for those who got in earlier.

My Strategy: Tracking KOL Wallets

My approach is to track KOL wallets—whenever they receive an allocation or buy a token, I copy their trades.

By doing this, you can enter at a much better price. I've personally had multiple 5x to 10x gains using this method.

Risks of Copy-Trading KOLs:

  • Too many people copying the same trades.
  • KOLs farming liquidity.
  • Other potential risks (I’ll update later).
In the next section, I'll explain how to find KOL wallets and how to copy their trades using a BOT.

Right now, after about 15 days of sideways movement, SOL is hovering around $150.

How to Find the Wallets I Use

Method 1: Using DEX

You can simply use Dexscreener to find profitable wallets to copy.

  • Look for a coin that has shown strong growth recently.
  • Check the "Best Trader" section to find wallets with good performance.
  • Analyze whether a wallet is suitable for copy-trading (this part is quite complex, as there are multiple factors to consider. I wrote a detailed post about it in English on X—check it out if you're interested).

Method 2: Using Dune.com to Scan Wallets

Use this tool to track high-performing wallets:

Note:

  • Many high-profit wallets are actually copy-trading bots, which often end up losing money.
  • It's better to check wallets from page 3 or 4 onward for more reliable traders.

Method 3: Finding KOL Wallets via Social Media (I Use X)

  • Look for KOLs with a moderate following (if they have too many followers, their wallets are copied too often, making it hard for you to compete on gas fees).
  • Check the last time they called out a token.
  • Go to Solscan.io and review transactions around that time to track their wallet activity.
