My Facebook account, which I’ve had for over 10 years, suddenly lost all of its reach. It’s all original content, no policy violations, no restrictions, and it has over 120,000 followers.

Everything was going great for years—sometimes getting over 10,000 interactions a day. Then out of nowhere, engagement dropped to just single digits.

I even got Meta Verified, but support insists there’s nothing wrong with the account. Still, something clearly is wrong.

I rely on Facebook for about 90% of my income, so simply quitting isn’t really an option.

Is it possible the account was targeted with bots or mass reports?
Is there any way to recover from this? I’d really appreciate any insights or help. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that happened. But just in case you missed it, there's been a long-standing rule in internet marketing: never build your entire business on Facebook or any social media platform for exactly this reason.

One day, your account might get banned, disabled, hacked—whatever the case may be—and everything could vanish overnight.

Relying solely on a Facebook group or social media page for income is a huge risk.

My advice? Create your own platform, like a website or a more stable paid service. Try to recover as much data as you can from your followers—hopefully, you collected email addresses.

If not, it’s time to move forward. Rebuild smarter this time and diversify your income streams. There's a reason why people say: don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

These days more than ever, platforms are the ground beneath your feet — where you take your first step and start your climb.

Too much of today’s tech has taken on the role of gatekeeper, deciding who gets through and who doesn’t.

Which always brings us back to the real question:

What’s your natural drive?

Maybe the age of rising through discomfort and hustle is finally ready to ask that out loud...

Have you reached out to Facebook? Someone might have put some sort of script in to cause you problems. https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/228813257197480
Thanks, that’s exactly what I’m trying to figure out. Is something like that even possible? And how can I find out what’s really going on?

I reached out to Facebook support, and they reviewed everything multiple times. They told me there’s nothing wrong with my account — no violations, no restrictions, and that the content looks fine.

They eventually escalated it to their engineering team, saying it might be a bug in the algorithm. I was told I’d get a follow-up within 24 hours twice but never heard back.

Now it’s supposedly been handed over to a “specialized services” team. They said I’d receive an update within 48 hours, but it’s been five days and all I’ve gotten are automated messages saying they’re still looking into it.

Is there anything I can do on my end to check if some kind of bot or script might be affecting my account?

Appreciate any advice , thanks in advance!
